. Peters is Senior Vice President, North America Operations.
His 29 years of service to the Wendy’s brand encompasses all aspects of restaurant operations leadership and support.
Peters began his professional career with Wendy’s in 1983 as a restaurant General Manager in Denver, Colorado. From there he advanced through the ranks as a District Manager, Field Area Director, Director of Area Operations, before being named as a Division Vice President for Wendy’s Texas Division in 2001.
In 2006, Peters was promoted to Senior Vice President, Western Region. In this role, he successfully implemented programs to boost customer service and operational performance. He also was instrumental in establishing numerous planning and control systems to reduce costs.
Based on his strong, results-oriented performance, Peters was named in December 2010 to his current position as Senior Vice President, North America Operations, with responsibility for leading operations support for the Wendy’s system in the U.S. and Canada.
Peters received Wendy’s Golden Eagle Award in 1994, honoring employees who demonstrate Wendy’s highest standards in all endeavors. His community involvement includes five years’ service on the board of directors of Arizona-based AASK (Aid to Adoption of Special Needs Kids).
Peters holds a bachelor’s degree in business management from Moorhead State University, Moorhead, Minnesota.
